At the Gate: Stories, Poems and Other Crossings is an unpublished, single author collection being submitted for publication.
At the Gate: Stories, Poems and Other Crossings is a cross-genre collection of memoir, speculative fiction, and poetry about coming to terms with our past, learning to live with what we inevitably carry from it, and transforming those seeds into a new way of being in the world. Rooted in Mexican American experience, the Sonoran Desert, family memory, trauma, and spiritual imagination, the collection moves from personal experience toward grappling with larger questions of social violence, intergenerational trauma, resistance strategies and a realization of the interconnectedness of our lives.

Dissociation in Dreams: The Impact of Dissociative Tendency on Dream Content
Josefa Maria Molina, Ph.D. (1996)
Doctoral dissertation, California Institute for Integral Studies.
UMI Dissertation No. 9633906.
Research focus: An empirical investigation of the relationship between dissociative tendencies and dream content in women, examining how differences in psychological experience are reflected in dream imagery, perception, volition, and sense of self.
Early on I had an interest in states of consciousness and other ways of knowing beyond the academic. I am exploring some of these ideas in my current foray into speculative fiction.
